Bukhchuluun Ganburged
My first Special Thanks goes to Bukhchuluun Ganburged. We met for the first time on the Woodford Folk Festival end of 2015. Bukhu came on stage just after a friend and I had performed Russian Folk songs. I was memorized by the sound of the Morin Khuur and wrote down the name of the instrument as I wasn't sure I couldn't retain such an unusual name. Four month later I attended a throat singing workshop with Bukhu and was allowed to hold his instrument. I was in heaven and determined to do what it takes to study it.
In May 2016 I travelled to Siberia after having found Inga on Facebook. Combining the trip with a visit to my friends at the Lake Baikal, I took the overnight train to Ulan-Ude. Ingrid got an instrument for me and was most patiently introducing me to the first steps of the technique and little melodies. It took me many Skype lessons and daily rehearsal to get to the first song of Altargana!

Steve and I met also on Facebook, as you do nowadays .... Then in in July 2017 I had the great honour to receive lessons from him in Ulaanbaatar. Warm encounters with new friends as well as some sightseeing in and around the city were a great inspiration and added yet another "home" to the long list of places on this planet that splits my heart into a mirade of pieces. Steve is not just a great musician but also a blessed artist. You can see his work under the link above.

Landin Soroko

My beautiful boy had the great patience to sit with me and turn the painting into the cover. His innovative ideas and artistic talent made him produced a wonderful result. I'm ever so proud and grateful to him....
Doerte Groening
Last but not least Special Thanks go to Doerte Groening from Hamburg for sponsoring the project. Doerte liked one song from my previous CD "ALL ABOUT YOU" so much, that she was ready to help producing an entire CD to hear some more. My heartfelt thanks to her and to our common friend, Ingrid Kopp, for supporting the process.
